1. Data controller

2. Data we collect

We process the data you provide directly and some technical data:

• Account data: display name, email address, password (stored only in irreversibly hashed form).
• Company profile data: company name, VAT number, country, website.
• Developer profile data: professional headline, skills, bio.
• Content: posted projects, offers, messages exchanged on the platform.
• Economic data: credit balance, transactions, package purchases (payment details are handled by the payment provider and never reach our servers).
• Technical data: server logs, IP address, browser information.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4): only with your consent via the banner.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Providing the service (registration, project posting, offers, messages, credits) — legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Security, fraud and abuse prevention — legal basis: legitimate interest.
• Site usage statistics — legal basis: consent (cookie banner).
• Tax and accounting obligations on purchases — legal basis: legal obligation.
• Service emails (e.g. password reset, offer notifications) — legal basis: performance of a contract.

4. Where data is stored

The platform database is hosted on Render (Frankfurt region, European Union). The site is served by infrastructure managed by the controller. Transactional emails are sent via Resend. Usage statistics are processed by Google Analytics with anonymised IP. These providers act as data processors under their own data protection agreements.

5. Anonymity on the platform

By design, your identity is not visible to the counterpart until an offer is accepted: companies see offers anonymously and developers do not see the company name. After acceptance, name and profile are shown only to the counterpart involved.

6. Data retention

• Account data: for the lifetime of the account.
• Accounting records on purchases: 10 years (legal obligation).
• Technical logs: only as long as strictly needed for security.
• Upon account deletion, personal data is removed or anonymised; only data required by law (e.g. accounting records) and anonymised credit movements (ledger integrity) are kept.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, restrict processing, receive your data in portable format, object to processing and withdraw consent. Write to info@araknet.cloud. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

8. Cookies

The platform uses two kinds of cookies:

• Strictly necessary cookies: they handle the login session and the operation of the site. No consent required.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4): they measure site usage in aggregate form with anonymised IP. They are set only if you consent via the banner. You can change your mind at any time by clearing the site data in your browser: the banner will be shown again on your next visit.

9. Changes to this notice

Substantial changes will be communicated through the site. The updated version is always available on this page. In case of discrepancies, the Italian version prevails.
